We thoroughly enjoyed our round trip to Orlandolioness wrote:Probably and I have a lot of time for Richard Branson, but if his flights are anything to go by, then didn't think much of my flight in january back from Dubai. Booked 3 seats together online, then got told at the airport they had no record of it. Since had an apology. The food was really awful and they collected glasses etc into a gash bag dragged up the cabin. As an ex-hostie, I was appalled. So I hope his cruises would be a bit more upmarket

Lioness - I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your Virgin flight; we've been badly let down by Virgin Atlantic too; never again.
If he ever got the go-ahead and funding to start a cruise line ....... I'd rather take up paddling a canoe.

Re: Virgin cruises? coming soon
I guess with any travel there can be hiccups but I have never experienced any problem with Virgin Airways.
For the last 10 years I have flown at least twice a year to USA and only travel economy class. I have also used them for stay and cruise holidays which have been first class. If they were to introduce cruises I cannot see them being cheap and cheerful and if the itinerary was what I wanted I would consider them.
It is a shame a bad experience with a company can put you off them for ever.

If his railway and airline companies are anything to go by, he won't have any passengers anyway.........!
For some unfathomable reason, all those who travel with Vermin (as it is known in the trade) are 'customers'

I love watching 'Cruise with Stelios', no attempt at all to make the ship look in any way classy, just a big orange 'Vengabus' pulling into port.

I'm not sure I would want to travel with a company that doesn't carry as much as a single 'passenger'.................... They only have 'customers'

Notso
do you think any other lines sees you as anything other than a customer?
or more accurately a cash cow?

If the Virgin cruises are slow selling, will they offer a free space flight as an incentive????
