Re: Embarkation Times
Thanks Meg, but is the date and time shown 'real time'?
Gills post makes me think that she is on QV - but surely if she was onboard on 16th, unless she was doing a b2b then she'd have been Southampton bound?

Re: Embarkation Times
We are back now and yes, had a really good cruise - probably one of the best in fact. Good company is so important isn't it? And we certainly had some good company.suespud wrote:Lovely to hear from you Gill..GillD46 wrote:We are on QV right now. We have met and spent time with Jo and her husband - and a very lovely couple they are too. We have not come across Em if she is on board, but sunce I have no idea what she looks like, she may have been on a nearby table - who knows?
The new boarding process was in place and it appeared to go fairly smoothly. Luggage was delivered in a fairly timely fashion, the same as always. To be honest it seems a fuss about nothing, passengers arrived and all boarded as usual.
Hope you and Jo ( and Boris...albeit in hiding... ) are having a fantastic time!!
Sue

So how about you...were you on the same cruise as Gill..
Or have you sailed on QV today and on the same cruise as Jo...as she IS doing a b2b.

It's kind of you to ask - thankyou.
Sorry, but if I don't go now I'll be late for nosebags.

I have asked if I can turn up on whichever cruise I want, as well as what time I want

That's very unkind of you DK. I have it on good authority that Bozza is indeed on the QV and has decided to join a table of 6 this time. Her and Mr Bozza shall be joined by Amelia Earhart, Shergar, Lucky Lord Lucan and Jimmy Hoffa. Bon Appetite!

Hope everyone sailing on Queen Elizabeth, Aurora and Balmoral today have nice, easy embarkations, without long queues, and a good cruise.

I reiterate that and envy those going on the Aurora. How exciting to be first on after the refit. I shall have to wait until later next year to see the changes.Kenmo1 wrote:Hope everyone sailing on Queen Elizabeth, Aurora and Balmoral today have nice, easy embarkations, without long queues, and a good cruise.

Aurora just 'didn't look right' in her new colours today.

I don't judge anything/anyone by what's on the outside, rather on what's on the inside.
I don't have to look at the outside of any ship when I am on board, except briefly at ports of course. so I don't give a jot about any new fangled livery, it makes no difference to my cruise.
Likewise, what I perceive of people from their posts on a forum, says a great deal. It's called, reading between the lines.

Absolutely .I Quite agree with all the above
I don't know why Boris even bothers to comment on a po ship as she says she only goes on Cunard . I for one think Aurora looks very classy with her new look.

Re: Embarkation Times
While I am not overly keen on the new P&O livery, I can't say it would bother me at all, and completely agree that it's what's inside that's important, rather than outside on the hull.

Is Boris just dropping hints that she disembarked or embarked Queen Elizabeth yesterday? If she saw Aurora the only other ships in were QE and Balmoral.

Re: Embarkation Times
Why all the cloak and dagger nonsense? Anyone else would just say if they were going on a cruise and maybe post a review and a few pics for others to enjoy. I very much doubt that Bozza has ever set foot on a Cunard ship but I am past caring!
