We have just booked a late deal on Arcadia J316P leaving on November 5th. Looking forward to our first visit to Israel and I am wondering if anyone has any useful tips or advice on visiting Haifa and Ashdod. Is it possible to go DIY or better to take the ships tours? Thanks Doreen.

Hi Grando,
We never got to Ashdod because of the trouble but had a trip booked to Jeruselem. They still ran the trip but from Haifa. The 2 nd day in Haifa we got a taxi who showed us around the town and the shrine and Elijas cave. He was very informative, spoke excellent English and had been a tour guide.
