Ship visits
Are the Cunard ship visits worth the £50pp charge, which seems expensive to me?

Re: Ship visits
Do you get it refunded if you eventually book a cruise?

Re: Ship visits
We've done it once, purely because we wanted to see one of the Cunard ships and for that reason, we felt that £50 was OK for a day out. Wouldn't necessarily do it again though
Compare that with £25pp for the same kind of experience with P&O, where I felt the lunch to be far superior then, yes, it is expensive.
Both Cunard and P&O do offer you discounts and/or extra OBC if you book following a ship visit
Anyone know what Calamity charge for a visit ?

No, I've not done a ship visit with X, I don't (personally) think that in the case of X that a brief visit would give a deep enough insight into the service which we have experienced on our cruises with them.
We have had a ship visit with Azamara - and it was an invitation and free of charge. There were the usual perks of discount/obc etc if you made a booking as a result of the ship visit, and in our case the booking wasn't necessary on the day itself, we were given a voucher with a code on it, and that would give us the perks. As it turned out, we were able to squeeze in to actually make our reservation before we left the ship.

Re: Ship visits
We paid £25 but it was 2-3 years ago. We were surprised to be given a drinks voucher and the run of the ship for a couple of hoursqbman1 wrote: ↑03 Feb 2017, 09:41We've done it once, purely because we wanted to see one of the Cunard ships and for that reason, we felt that £50 was OK for a day out. We didn't think so, not when P&O/Celebrity were charging £25 for the same thing
