Itinerary docking times
Hi All
Is the time stated on the itinerary for the duration of a port visit e:g 7am to 7pm. Does that mean the ship docks at 7am or is that the time we can actually get off the ship.

Re: Itinerary docking times
First of all any times quoted for arriving/departing a port will only be approximate and will be subject to change (even on the day)
Normally any times relate to the time that the ship will arrive/depart. The actual time that you will have off the ship will depend on the port/country. For example if you were to be going to an American port then it could take around four hours to clear immigration - but for the majority of ports it takes around 30 minutes to clear the port procedures. Note you will have to be back on board at least 30 minutes before the ship sails - otherwise it will go without you!
