QM2 World Cruise

#1

Post by GillD46 »

We are now on the final countdown to joining QM2 in Singapore for her 29 night voyage back to Southampton. So 9 days until we fly to Ho Chi Minh City for our stay there first, and 18 days until we board the wonderful QM2. Time to think about what we take and perhaps some early packing.

If anyone is interested in hearing about a Cunard World Cruise, I am happy to look in now and again.

Gill - have a wonderful holiday and, if you get the chance, please let us know how you are getting on.

Calm seas and blue skies all the way.

A Cunard World Cruise ... yes please ... is it, in reality was it, as upmarket as their image implies or would we be better served with other Lines like Swan Hellenic ?

Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

We did the first leg of the QE Worldie last year, Southampton to Fort Lauderdale. It was a great experience and I had to be dragged from the ship. There was pretty much nothing we could complain about as far as I can remember, except there were only 2 or 3 production shows in the whole fortnight, but it hardly mattered to us personally as we don't go to them often.

I'll pop on every now and again then and let you know how it's going.

Yes please Gill, would be very interested in your updates.

If you find it easier/quicker to send an email rather than post on the forum directly, I am happy to post your updates for you - I read them all anyway so no biggy.

Have a great one.

Thanks, DTM. If you PM me an address, I may well take advantage of your kind offer.
