Britannia webcam
Has anyone seen the webcam on Britannia actually working ?
Every time I look it's a night shot of Southampton

Still showing a night time shot, not sure where though. I wonder if P&O know its not functioning, and if so do they care?

The camera itself is working fine, it seems to be the link to shore that's not. You'll just have to book a cruise and watch it on your cabin tv.

I am not sure the live action feed shown on the cabin TV is in fact used to provide the still satellite images on the webcam on the site. I noticed major differences on our last cruise from the webcam pictures I had been studying over the weeks before, if they do come from the same camera then the webcam is a chopped down version with a much tighter field.Mervyn and Trish wrote:The camera itself is working fine, it seems to be the link to shore that's not. Whichever it is I suspect the problem lies in the satellite uplink, and knowing how expert P&O are on IT, it may never get fixed.
