Happy Birthday from P and O

#1

Post by Whynd1 »

Morning all

Its my birthday soon and as a valued member of the Peninsular club I have received a birthday card from P and O. It invites me to enter a prize draw for a canaries cruise A618. Trouble is the link that it gives does not exist for that cruise, it for an old cruise draw. Clever or what.

Clearly another cost-cutting measure !

It really makes you feel "valued" doesn't it ?!

Aw, bless. You are loved by P&O after all !

Mind you, be a miracle if you win - I've been entering for years and not won a thing ! Good luck to you.

I'd have thought they would be offering an entry into the prize draw to win ... a P&O Monopoly.

ps ... going as low as £12 on e-Bay.

pps ... Happy Birthday Lindsey
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

The weird thing is the card arrived a week early and it is very formal doesn't say Happy Birthday Lindsey it says happy Birthday Mrs Bowen.

You'd think they could programme the computer to use your first name on a greetings card.

Still shouldn't complain or that will be something else they withdraw although it's a nice touch.

The Goldie calendar isn't bad this year either. Mrs C very excited about some of the recipes - looks like James Martin's beans this month !

We both had the same invitation in November and December last year. We never did get the link to work and, after reading similar reviews, gave up. I reckon you stand a good chance if no-one else has managed to enter!

I've entered various win-a-cruise competitions. The only time I actually win is when I bribe them with about four grand.
