We are going back to the Baltic again as there is still so much more to see there and we are giving Princess cruise line another go after at least a 10 year break. So far, that is all that we have arranged.

Re: 2015: where are we all headed ?
we are doing a short break in Chester in Feb, and 3 weeks in Ireland in the summer (must sort out holiday ins for that one - even though we're taking our own car - our bank account no longer has it as standard)

Re: 2015: where are we all headed ?
We are booked to do the Canaries on QV in May, but my mum is very poorly and as the balance has to be paid in a few weeks, I rather suspect we will cancel, as we cannot get insrance to cover cancellation or curtalment because of her and it's far too much money to lose. Instead we will have a week in Cyprus, which is MUCH cheaper!
We also have another trip booked on QV in August, an Eastern Med cruise with an overnight in Istanbul.
With a wedding to pay for in July, that may be it until Christmas/New Year/World Cruise when we hope to do something nice.

Just got to hope Putin calms things down a bit instead of blaming everyone else for his country's problems. We have found recently that whenever we visit a place it often gets taken off the itineraries for some reason after that, especially with P&O e.g. Spitsbergen, St John's in Newfoundland, Odessa and Yalta - is it something we said ?Dark Knight wrote:Maureen

We're off to Northumberland for two weeks in June in a cottage. We did this last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to go back to do all the we didn't manage to do. Really looking forward to that. We'll also be spending some time at our caravan in Shropshire. No cruises booked as yet but will be looking for an Autumn cruise with friends.

The only thing that we have planned at the moment is our Christmas/New Year cruise on Arcadia - something else will probably crop up during the year.

Just booked Oriana to the Canaries on 23 January, nice spot of sun with luck. No real bargains out there, apart from the Med in winter, unlike last year. Thereafter, couple of weeks oop north in Yorkshire, a Cunard cruise of some description in May/June and, hopefully, another in September. Nice old life, this retirement lark.

Many happy returns gfw.
We are off to London in January shortly after a gourmet dinner and night at Miller Howe in Windermere. Then we are looking at Aurora to Venice, Adonia up to Seville or Arcadia to Iceland. All depends on how prices go which ones we do. We'll probably slip in a couple of City breaks somewhere along the line.

In 2015 we are cruising the River Thames to Oxford, followed by two nights in prison ...
Apart from that we aim to cherry pick a couple of ' suitable ' cheapo Cruising deals.

Canaries again for some winter sun (Arcadia)
I feel happier going on holiday when I suspect that I'm going to be less busy
As for the summer, just a few days away I guess.
I've got about a trillion Avios points so may use some of them

Flying to Venice for a cruise on Celebrity Constellation (I think) and going to several places in Croatia, Montenegro, Ravenna - only two places, Venice and Dubrovnik, that we have visited before, so really looking forward to it. Then in September Canada and New England on Celebrity Summit.
