Re: Cabin E301 HB
HB cabins are the 2nd highest grade of the basic, non sofa, balcony cabins on Britannia. Although E301 is adjacent to the lift and stair lobby this should not be a problem, we have to book accessible cabins, which are mainly in the same area, and we hardly notice the higher footfall that this can create. In fact being near the lift and stairs does have a lot of advantages.

Not specifically on Britannia, but we always choose a cabin close to a stairway wherever possible. Never found it especially noisy and makes for much easier access (and easier to find when you have had a few to many in Andersons!)

Welcome to the forum, kujude and I hope you enjoy your Christmas cruise.
E301 is close to the centre of the ship, which is good and it's very handy for the lift. You may just hear the lift "ping" when it arrives, but probably not and in any case it should not be a problem. So, yes, a good cabin.

Like Cubie we aim to be close to the lifts and have rarely been troubled by noise. And midships is perfect for us. Sounds a good cabin to me

Welcome to the site kujude. As a first time cruiser I expect you will have plenty of questions. Put them on here and you'll find plenty of people with a broad experience of cruising.
