Sold out very quickly.

Glad I pre registered with a ta.
Personally I thought both cruises were very competitively priced.

Yes we have booked the 40 night - thought the price was very competitively priced - we did go for an inside cabin though

Must admit we've never had an inside cabin and never could. I really couldn't cope without seeing the daylight and fresh air on the balcony. I envy those who can do it though as generally it means they can afford cruises beyond our reach. But each to their own.

We started in an inside cabin on a Carnivsl cruise to the Bahamas, deep down in the bowels of an old Canadian Paciic liner that later became Topaz, since then we have had 2 obstructed view outside cabins and one other inside but the rest have been balconies. I have to admit that I would not want to go back to an inside cabin, but that's more of an old age thing, if we were younger, fitter
and poorer then we would be happy to consider one.

Your braver than me LadyP.
A world cruise would be bad enough, but doing it in an inside cabin, definitely not for me. But each to their own, and I wish you a wonderful time when it comes round.

We have also booked the 40 night one , after having the Amazon trip cancelled. Hopefully it will go ahead.

Merv, I'm sure you remember a past member, well spoken and a stickler for dress codes. I feel sure he always booked inside cabins saying he could get more cruises in for his money.
If you can stick an inside, go for it.

Look forward to seeing you Jenny - even though we had a mini suite for the world cruise we both said we had a better nights sleep in an inside cabin!!

It's all a bit topsy turvy with covid, but I would expect summer 2023 cruises to go on sale next month, and winter 2023/4, which should include the first quarter world cruises, in March next year.

I’ve never tried an inside and have only done outside twice.
I don’t like the aircon very much and wedge the balcony door open at night when it’s hot.
My mate always went inside and had three cruises a year compared to our one or sometimes two, so it certainly makes financial sense.
I must admit that we spent a lot more time on deck when we had an outside.
Empty vessels .. and all that

I’ve always thought of balcony cabins as another destination with panoramic views

Have you been given extra obc to make up for the shortfall in the number of days.

If they have cut the cruise short by that amount then clause 40 probably comes into play which equates to a full refund ... if required.

Yes but they're all pre-printed with your details in answer to the question "who should the cheque be made payable to?"
