Welcome to Ripples We can't wait to visit this gelateria on Iona. What's your favourite flavour?

Re: Welcome to Ripples
Why does this remind me of the quote from Reggie Perrin
"I like to stroke my nipple with strawberry and lychee ripple"

Seriously P&O ?
Ice cream ?
Who on earth is going to be attracted to a cruise ship because of ice cream ?

Re: Welcome to Ripples
Why not, a good selection of ice cream will appeal to families probably far more than a meal in Epicurean.

Re: Welcome to Ripples
A good quality ice cream on a hot sunny day could quite well appeal to me.
But not that apology for ice cream that comes out of a machine

Re: Welcome to Ripples
I can quite happily enjoy a soft ice cream from the machine on Independence OTS on a hot day, equally I enjoy a scoop or 3 of fancy flavours that Celebrity offer, or at least used to.

Me too but Celebrity's Gelleto Italiano was far too sugary for our tastes

Bear in mind that "free" actually means "included". Nothing is free.
So if it's "included" you've paid for it whether you eat it or not.

Bit like our NHS in that sense - some people still call it 'free' (without mentioning the 'at point of service' bit)

I’ve had the Snowflake brand of ice cream in London - it’s well worth paying for - looking forward to having soon - hopefully very soon !!
