A Progress Report

Since arriving we have mainly been catching up with family and a few aquantances that we have made over the years - oh yes and catching up on some sleep after the journey.

The weather, up until today, has been just as expected with "wall to wall" sunshine and temperatures well up into the high 20's, but today there is a strong wind which is keeping the temperature down to around 23C. Unfortunatley the weather forcast for the next few days is not good - there is a prediction for some heavy rain - but no snow!!

Nothing much more to report at the moment - we have another week in Auckland before we set off on our "South Island Adventure"
