Re: Last One to Post Wins
A truckload is deffo considerably cheaper than having bags, a ratio of 16 : 10 in favour of the truck with our supplier.
The difficulty is becoming that neither of us are too fussed about the bending to pick up 4 Cubic foot of logs off the driveway and then having to move them for stacking under cover. With bags the driver will line them up in the garage for us and the movement is then considerably reduced and spread over a period of time. We also intend to use more smokeless coal this year.
Yes it's more expensive but Mobietta can only do so much .

Jan, I hope you are aware of the M27 road closures around the M3 jct taking place this weekend 10pm Friday to 6:00am Monday and you and your family are taking this into account for your journey to the port?Jan Rosser wrote: ↑24 Aug 2018, 17:50I’m going on the 12 nighter John - I’m sure it will be okaytowny44 wrote: ↑24 Aug 2018, 17:05Which is that Jan, the 2 nighter or the 12 nighter? We are on the cruise that gets back on 28th, can't guarantee what state she will be in whichever one you are doing.

Thanks John - I had heard about it - I'm travelling on Sunday and presume that as it's a P&O Intercruises coach that they will be aware of this road closure and this will be taken into account - hope your cruise went welltowny44 wrote: ↑28 Sep 2018, 23:25Jan, I hope you are aware of the M27 road closures around the M3 jct taking place this weekend 10pm Friday to 6:00am Monday and you and your family are taking this into account for your journey to the port?Jan Rosser wrote: ↑24 Aug 2018, 17:50I’m going on the 12 nighter John - I’m sure it will be okaytowny44 wrote: ↑24 Aug 2018, 17:05Which is that Jan, the 2 nighter or the 12 nighter? Famous last words Stephen - after my Whitsun cruise I thought the Christmas cruise would be my next holiday but no my son's in-laws "persuaded" me to go end of September on Azura - five weeks to go
