The loo is behind the shower cubicle. It's not woodgrain, it's a marble effect, but the photo does make it all look browner than it actually is. It's more of a crème brulee colour.

OK I could live with creme brulee, and a marbled finish will be easier on the eye than wood effect; and I knew the loo was the other side of the shower.

I'm sure there's a setting on my camera that would allow me to take a picture with more accurate colour representation, but I'm stuffed if I know how to work it.

Try with and without flash, or you could doctor it once its on your computer.

....but did you enjoy your cruise on Magellan better than your P&O ones? From your review so far the passengers seem to have similar failings to those you met on P&O.
Towny, Magellan was a lovely ship which we enjoyed very much, it had the right balance of bars and venues, varied entertainment and a good selection of food and drink, very sociable passengers who were happy to chat and the staff were the best we have seen on any ship. I wouldn't begin to compare it to PandO ships, as it would be like comparing a ford mondeo to a jaguar, they do exactly the same thing but in different ways
BUT we are not typical cruisers, we don't subscribe to cruising being a posh holiday or that it is some sort of elite club for the middle class, we also don't believe the hype of the brochures, cruising is sold to the gullible as a special holiday that will change your life, BS, it is a floating hotel and with all hotels, some are better than others.
no doubt the class clowns, will try to take the p*ss but as they have no experience of Magellan, the stupid put downs just make them look small and tiresome and show them up for the snobs they are, so let them cling to the myth that PandO/ Cunard are something special, whilst those of us with a lot more sense reap the benefit of not being scared to try something new

I'm sure none of us are so immature as to seriously mock you for your stance, DK (tease you mercilessly, yes :sarcasm: ) - as you so rightly say, all cruise ships are floating hotels and no-one should deride what they haven't tried. I do believe, though, that companies have a particular corporate brand and, having seen Paul Merton's documentary on an RCI ship, seeing the facilities and ambience there behind the posers, we know that line's not for us. We've also tried CMV and, while we enjoyed the one-nighter, we know that that line isn't for us either. Our more serious cruises/voyages have been with P&O and Cunard but, if the dates, itinerary and price are right, we would very happily try Princess and Celebrity. We would also very happily go back to a particular non-floating hotel in Paphos - cruising, as you say, is just another form of holiday and other forms are available.

If you have an iPad try using that as they produce brilliant accurate images. You may need to put the bathroom light on though as they're not to clever in low light situations.

And yes, of course I knew the loo wasn't in the shower.....just jesting with you :D

Like the old definition of the difference between white a blue collar workers..........

The white collar workers wash their hands after they've been to the loo, and the blue collar workers before they go! :o

In the book 'All Quiet on the Western Front' the corporal paired them up one above the other in bunk beds, and made them change places on a weekly basis!

We had the Station Warrant Officer threaten this lad with being moved to an isolated hut that was known to be the haunt of scorpions and camel spiders. He very quickly mended his ways!

It has the makings of a pleasant day here in the west - it's been piddling down overnight though.

Quite pleasant here too. We had a new carpet fitted in the bedroom, but they fitted the wrong one: - exactly the same make & colour - but a much thicker pile version. I don't think I'll be complaining - even though I have had to take a plane to the bottom of the door!
