I see Towny has stopped taking his medication again and his delusions have returned.

We had an interesting present brought in by the cat last night. He appeared to have an odd looking mouse in his mouth, but when he dropped it, it took off and flew silently - and at great speed - around the kitchen! We opened the folding doors, and it eventually flew out, and disappeared into the night.

Could this be why Batty has not finished his Magellan review? :o

Rather than lose the will by reading through all this - have I missed anything critical ? Any chance of a brief precis of DK's trip on the dredger ?

Don't be such a snob Cubie - Batty's report is quite funny and very honest - give it a go

Have you not cut a deal with the local game butcher to supply fresh meat to him?

I'm enjoying his report, but not heard anything yet to tempt me to Magellan.

You won't hear anything either , Merv
I dint think it is your kind of ship , it is not overly formal, an old ship with very few mod cons, few balcony cabins and no posh eateries or bars
It bears no comparison to the 2. PandO ships I have been on

....but did you enjoy your cruise on Magellan better than your P&O ones? From your review so far the passengers seem to have similar failings to those you met on P&O.
