Like the old definition of the difference between white a blue collar workers..........
The white collar workers wash their hands after they've been to the loo, and the blue collar workers before they go!

In the book 'All Quiet on the Western Front' the corporal paired them up one above the other in bunk beds, and made them change places on a weekly basis!

We had the Station Warrant Officer threaten this lad with being moved to an isolated hut that was known to be the haunt of scorpions and camel spiders. He very quickly mended his ways! Not so ancient mariner wrote:Silver_Shiney wrote:I shared a barrack room with a Welshman who was like thatStephen wrote:Mervyn and Trish wrote:Well I know you Essex boys don't bother to get out of the shower for a pee.....

It has the makings of a pleasant day here in the west - it's been piddling down overnight though.

Quite pleasant here too. We had a new carpet fitted in the bedroom, but they fitted the wrong one: - exactly the same make & colour - but a much thicker pile version. I don't think I'll be complaining - even though I have had to take a plane to the bottom of the door!

Reminds me of the time my wife was told she had acute angina - which she took as a compliment (well, her hearing is not too good these days) !
