Hatches battened and loose items in garden removed. I've lashed Trish to the chimney to keep an eye on the TV aerial.
One does but only for emergencies when the local transmitter is broken. There's more than enough on the terrestrial channels without shelling out for Sky etc, not being sport fans.Manoverboard wrote: ↑09 Feb 2020, 12:28Heavens above …. doesn't one have a satellite dishMervyn and Trish wrote: ↑09 Feb 2020, 11:14So far in the North Southlands it's wet and windy but nothing like threatened. When we moved to Darzet even Currys in Dorchester couldn't get a decent signal without a dish so we bought one just for the Freeview channels but added SKY at a later date. It is still the case so without SKY we would use a Humax Freesat Box.Mervyn and Trish wrote: ↑09 Feb 2020, 12:39One does but only for emergencies when the local transmitter is broken.
