I was part of an incinerator campaign and one of our awareness ideas was to have large yellow NO’s on every bin in our large village…it worked but it took four years to stop it. Whenever I revisit you can still spot the NO’s but most have got rid of the ‘s and replaced it with house numbers…which was the intention of our artist chappie when he dreamt up the idea.

Not a bad looking day, going out later to hopefully join the queue for our Meds, ordered a week ago.
Been to join a few times, but the knobheads have been bunching. Apparently they are now observing the 2mt gap, so we will see.

I am so hacked off with opposition politicians, self appointed experts and individuals who have nothing helpful to add to the current situation but just knock others.

The latest, an immunologist saying we should be testing more people. But asked where we could get the required kits and chemicals said "I don't know".

More common sense from someone else who said "if we tested all 60,000,000 of the population today we'd have to do it again tomorrow or next week because the results would be different.

Totally agree with you Merv, until PHE are satisfied that the test to determine if you have immunity to covid19, ie you have probably had the infection even if asymptomatic, then general testing to see if you have it is rather pointless, unless you have severe symptoms. Even among working health professionals until both tests are readily available it is not going to add much to their security to know they don't currently have the disease today, but of course might be infected with it tomorrow.
But I do wish that the front line health care workers all had the necessary PPE, although even here Jenny Harries said yesterday that there was confusion as to what type of PPE was needed, and seemed to be implying that some of the "hysterical" outbursts were because of this.

Just be careful because people are going crazy from being in lock down! Actually I've just been talking about this with the microwave, and to Kenwood, while drinking coffee and all of us agreed that things are getting bad. I didn't mention anything to the washing machine as she puts a different spin on everything. Certainly not to the fridge as he is acting cold and distant. In the end the iron calmed me down as she said everything will be fine, no situation is too pressing. The hoover was very unsympathetic... told me to just suck it up, but the fan was more optimistic and hoped it would all soon blow over! The toilet looked a bit flushed when I asked its opinion and didn’t say anything but the door kn*b told me to get a grip.😬 The front door said I was unhinged and so the curtains told me to ........yes, you guessed it 😝.....pull myself together !

Jobs for today. Check and dust off the BBQ. Check coal/gas. Check beer supplies and put some in the fridge.
After all of that, sit down for a rest, have a beer.
