I'm not sure how helpful the grandchildren would be!
But seriously when I went on Tuesday it was well organised. Questioned on health before I went. Wait nearby in the car till they phoned me. Then stand outside the door without touching anything until they opened it and let me in. Sanitise hands on entry. Take own pen to sign the paperwork. Seats in the waiting room reduced to two well spaced and replaced with hard plastic washable chairs. After treatment leave by the back door passing no one entering. Dentist and nurse in full PPE looking like they were en route the ISS.

Personally I can't see why they don't do home visits

Having an extraction nowadays is so pain free even down to the injection. I had a molar out last January, the worst part was waiting for the pain afterwards the never happened, it goes back to the days of the school dentist, bloody Butchers.
Don't worry, be happy

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I had a wisdom tooth in March. I had more discomfort long after having it out than them taking it out which as you say was painless.

Not saying there's going to be any pain but I've been advised to take paracetamol before the visit!
My experience of the last one, pretty much the mirror image on the other side of my jaw, was of little pain either in the extraction or the subsequent installation of the implant. Other than to the wallet. Fingers crossed. And I hope you'll all be thinking of me being a brave boy on Wednesday at 8.30.

I admit I wanted some rain after May's drought, and it has been beneficial for the garden, but now enough is enough.

I don't know why you complain about Auntie's forecast. You should use my technique. Check three different forecasts and choose the one I like best.Stephen wrote: ↑12 Jun 2020, 07:57Our weather from today. Looking better next week.....if you believe the Beeb.

It is raining cats & dogs here, and maybe Keefie's chickens as well, and it has been like this now for days, but the lawn is beginning to green up nicely now.

That was Wednesday. And yesterday was the veg box from the milkman. And Tuesday was bin day and the dentist. Nothing much happened on Monday.

Isn't it sad how excited we get over the most mundane things Mind you I've had a good morning - cheque from P&O and a delivery from M&S - new slippers and pyjamas
