Nice here today. First real walk since Christmas. Had to get money from the City, hardly a sole about.

The weather bods keep threatening snow for tomorrow and Thursday across the east side of the UK. Not a chance of that looking at the online beeb weather for the rest of the week. Plenty of rain, yes, snow

I've been for a short walk, first time I've been out for over a week and ended up buying a Gregg's sausage roll for lunch. Like you do. Traffic very light and very few people about. I was quite surprised.

Just finished hauling the smokeless coal, designer logs and kindle etc from the garage to the house pending another cold snap in the not too distant .... cool as a cucumber me 8-)
Oh the joy of having a 'real' fire. Going out in the cold, the wet and the snow, lugging in fuel, cleaning out the ash pan.
I think I will stick with my gas fire and C/H.
We do have C/H but a modern gas fire would look really stupid in our house.

Bright and sunny here but some frost where the sun hasn't reached. Depending on which site I look at for a weather forecast they are predicting all types of weather, I think I'll pick and choose the parts I like the look of :)

It's 27c with a 7% chance of rain, humidity of 73%
So, I know where I would like to be given different circumstances.

6am this morning and for some time after it was raining heavily, 8:30am and we had a 2 inch covering of snow and traffic on main road stopping and starting. Now almost 11:30 and it's still snowing heavily. I think I might stay indoors today, for a change!

Rain here and its washed away most of the snow, even here in the North and at altitude.

As forecast it's arrived. Started about 0730 and now about 20 mm, it's the fine stuff with the odd flake.
