Thanks Towny,

Unfortunately it not for me and I've not been keeping track of these things.

My sister in law needs a disabled cabin so I advised her to book early.

Thanks again

Just been reading 100 years of letters to the Times and felt fairly uplifted by the whole thing. I then picked up yesterday’s Telegraph and read a story about two doctors being involved in a fight over the merits or otherwise of Laura Kuenssberg. The article then went on to say what one of the doctors had said about Kuensberg. It was not very complimentary and was gratuitous, personal and not necessary for the understanding of the story and certaInly not to do with the quality of her work. (I must admit to not particularly liking Ms Kuenssberg’s delivery of her on screen manner)
Today in The Sunday Times there is an article about a planned meeting between Jeremy Corbyn and senior MI5 officials. Alongside the article there is information about concerns MI5 had about previous Labour PMs including Wilson, Foot and Gordon Brown. In the case of Gordon Brown they go on to say that they had concerns as they had ‘extensive evidence of his dealings with prostitutes’.
Again, nothing to do with Corbyn and to my mind gratuitous muck raking on the part of the press.
I really am getting fed up with the standards shown by the media...and don’t get me started on eyebrow raising and opinionated newscasters on tv.
Rant over. Feel better now!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening.
