Okay for now. Finish the antibiotics tomorrow so I can drink over Christmas. Not that I usually do of course. Butchery begins in the New Year.

Yeah, and Oliver Reed was tea total.

Just starting a weeks course of antibiotics myself. Fortunately they don't say no alcohol, not that would stop me. Cheers 🥃

That's it then. All done for another year. Just the turkey curry to finish then it's time to get the deck chairs out and oil the mower.

TV viewing was rubbish over Christmas. The one year I fancied watching the Great Escape and they don't show it.

Did anyone watch the most expensive cruise ship last night. More money than sense some people.

Didn't appeal to us. Of course these shows are edited to be entertaining but seemed to be a lot of wealthy riff raff!

Didn't see you on there Merv. :D

I just happen to come across the series called 'The Planets' which to my surprise I've been finding fascinating.

I think a mobile greengrocer must have drowned in our local canal. Walking the dog a couple of days ago a cauliflower floated by. The day after that it was a lettuce. And today a couple of apples and an orange. Weird.

We don't worry about sell by dates here. Providing it's not moving it's edible.

That especially applies to steak. People have been killed by moving steak. Toreadors mostly.

After you have done your research do let me know which one is best value, is blue ray still a preferred option?

On that note may one advise, following your personal recommendation, that one's Panasonic DVD hard drive was ' wiped ' following a ' Factory Reset '.

All sorted.

It was playing silly bu99ers. After doing three re-tunes all is working as it should.

Another few hundred pound saved

It shouldn't have done Moby. I've done a factory reset before now and everything was saved on the hard drive. If after several re-tunings this morning hadn't fixed the problem I would have gone for a reset without hesitation.

Like you I was sceptical about losing everything off the hard drive so saved it all to disc's, only to find out I needn't have bothered. Perhaps different Panansonic models vary in this.
