Caribbean fly cruise flights

#1

Post by allatc »

We're considering a P&O Caribbean fly cruise in spring 2021.

Probably flying from Birmingham.

Does anyone know the likely time of day for the flights ?

Alternative may be a DIY Princess cruise out of Fort Lauderdale but done four of those already.

Most po flights leave about 9 to 11 o'clock or a bit earlier to arrive mid afternoon in the Caribbean

Most P&O flights are early morning out to Barbados arriving early-mid afternoon, and return is late afternoon/early evening arriving back at an ungodly hour in the middle of the night.

Always found it relaxing to return with the ship John. Never done a return by air.

Good idea Ray if you like sea days.

Personally I don't like more than three sea days, but then I don't like night flights either, especially travelling economy.

I don't particularly like flying and all it entails before hand. The only way you will get me on a flight for more than 3-4 hours max is to travel upper class. And that is unlikely unless the lottery numbers come up.
