It will be about 12 years since we last went to the Baltic so are quite looking forward to it if that nasty Mr Covid allows us to go

Just had the revised itinerary for this cruise

St P has been replaces with Visby and Skagen - neither of which we have visited before (a few other ports have been moved around also)

Overall we are more than happy - in fact we think that it is a better cruise.

Visby is a buzz .... at the time I wrote

Visby, Swedish Island
A blast from the past. If you were a returning 13th century monk you would feel right at home here. A walk around sort of place for sure and absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Had a lovely 'Gotland' style lunch .... you just can't be hungry after two weeks on a cruise - just wanted to be part of it.

For us it was a lunch in a small kafe ( café ) in Visby where everything served is as fresh as fresh can be and of the region, choose something a little different plus white wine of course.

We paid using our as yet unspent Swedish Krona, they were amazed but genuinely pleased.

Visited Skagen in August 2019 - part of a Baltic cruise on a Royal Caribbean ship. We did an excursion from the ship which took in a visit to the town - pretty houses, lots of museums and art galleries but the highlight was a visit to the headland where the Baltic and North seas meet - it was unbelievably windy - have some great photos of the trip.
