Changed to the 28th in order to fly the 787

Flight seats booked, could only get Premium, on the way out. On reflection it saves us a few quid and the return flights are usually shorter; last year 6hr 40 min :relaxed: Interestingly most of the window seats in premium have gone, whilst far fewer have been reserved in economy for the return flight

Having returned from Azura mid December and not having a forthcoming cruise booked. We decided to try the alternative Caribbean route in March. Looking at prices, there were no spectacular reductions, but acceptable, so we booked just before Xmas. Checking on booking the flight seats today, I couldn't resist having a peep at the current price. Result it's gone up £200
In Nov/Dec we flew Thomson Dreamliner Premium out and because there were no premium seats left, Economy on the return. Having experienced both, apart from the seat configuration 3-4-3, if you like a window seat, I can see little advantage in Premium seats, and certainly none that justify a price tag of £300. The leg room and seat width in economy is more than adequate for most people and superior to economy on Emirates A 380

I note that Princess have some good offers at present with lots of OBC.
Example a 13nt Med cruise end of May from Southampton, inside £899 + $360 OBC per couple, Balcony £1399 + $720 OBC couple.

You are most welcome Princess.....btw.... l'm so pleased you didn't use the word 'waiting' in front of 'Sooo long' when referring to keefy chocolates as there are those on this furom who would use such a word to cast doubt on the sincerity of my giving nature  ...l know, it hard to believe isn't

Enjoy! :)

Keith

Looks good on the surface ... but ... I checked a couple of cruises and they are showing availability of one of the P&O ships, for example, a cool £300pp less than the P&O site plus cabin choices that P&O say are not available.

Does this mean that they have cornered the last minute market or that they will not actually have the item required ?

What l like about the site is that it just takes a tap and a scroll and you can see what cruises are available....whether they are avaliable at the price qouted is another matter.

The date for those destinations would be too cold for me, I certainly wouldn't be using the balcony. I'll stick to the Caribbean at that time of the year;)

cancelled our Baltic cruise with Celebrity, yesterday, re-booked with Cruise and Maritime
drinks package and tips included, more ports of call, less sea days and sailing form Newcastle, not Soton

saved just over £2000, which will pay for our northern lights cruise :-)
