Yes, and only three formal which is surprising - I thought there would have been four.

Just checked cruise personaliser again and it is still showing 3 jacket required evenings. Has this now changed?

Are you absolutely sure about that, latest info was that Adonia will retain the three codes until April 2016, not April 2015.

Best to check the ' full itinerary ' page in your Cruise Personaliser.

Enjoy the cruise

And of course after April 2016 Adonia is going to join the re-launched Ocean Village fleet.

No problem to us, we are equally at home on Swan Hellenic as we were on Ocean Village.

Itinerary, itinerary, itinerary ... old chap.

We booked early for a Britannia cruise but now they are offering all kinds of incentives - on board credit etc to get people to book.

Is it worth booking early I ask myself.

I often think that allatc

Then book anyway.

Yesterday I booked another for November 2016.

To be fair, I've been winner and loser in the P&O price lottery.
I really just book it at a price I'm happy with at the time and then live with it.
Empty vessels .. and all that

I heard she was doing Blackpool, Rhyll and Prestatyn one week and Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth and Bognor the next.

WHAT .... that is a real let down, far better would surely be Pwllheli, Bracklesham Bay and Clacton :(

Some you win, some you lose.

We booked very early for the Britannia Maiden and even with the current incentives we still paid less than they are charging for 14 nights now. We've also just booked a Ventura cruise for January 2017 and paid less than they are currently charging for the 2016 version of the same cruise.

But it doesn't always work out. it's a risk you take if, like us, you want the full choice of cabins, dining etc. If those things don't matter then there are, sometimes, bargains to be had.

And let's face it, the same happens with other major purchases. You buy a car and a month later they announce a new model and start dumping the old one at bargain prices.

Our philosophy remains pay a price we are happy with and don't get upset if someone else gets a better deal.

I believe Britannia is doing those in 2017.

There was never a cheaper cabin on Adonia than we paid and now we have been upgraded to an outside!! Our cruise this coming September on Oriana, may be a different matter. Some you win, some you lose. I was happy with the price, it was less than £100 per night.

Well who said P&O weren't doing interesting itineraries? Just gave in for 2016, having been frustrated on our Adonia plans, and have booked a very interesting trip on Aurora.

According to the Cruise Personaliser on the day between a call in Stavanger and another in Flam we are going to Genoa! Now that's shifting!

And I bet they get no credit for such inventive time tabling.

Sure to set a few speed records.

Come on Merv - you know that geography is not a strong point with P&O :sarcasm:

But look on the bright side. Now I've seen Genoa on the cruise personaliser, if they miss the port it will ruin my life and I can claim compo!

No cruise for us next year unfortunately, we're planning a trip to Orlando to see son and family. I hate that flight back, why can't we have transatlantics direct to Southampton from Fort Lauderdale? We can only get 14 days off at a time and the only crossings I've seen are 14 days duration as they are more of a cruise than a voyage. Still, might be worth investigating the cost of a single flight to MCO, then an internal to JFK and QM2 back...
