We know we're booked because we pre-registered and paid a deposit. So we have a guarantee of cabin grade but won't know the cabin number until general booking opens. However, since it is DA grade on Ventura we've booked they're all midships so the actual cabin isn't vital this time.

I'm taking early retirment this Christmas Sue, which is why we can now book longer cruises. Garry has been retired for 16 years and has been itching for me to retire so that we can cruise there and back to America. He detests the airport experience so next year all of the cruises are his choice. I won't be seeing much of the Caribbean unfortunately but have been going there twice a year for the past few years. Looking forward to a change and lots of new ports of call.

Very happy after a dodgy start this morning (no C Deck cabins available on Azura A633) first day of booking?? After many phone calls we eventually got the cabin we wanted. So Christmas and New Year 2016 sorted and going back to New Orleans! Anyone else going? Doreen. 8-)

That's the exact principal we are working to. You are a long time in the other place. And apparently you cannot take it with you!!!

Oh and yes QB we are slumming it. The last one is in one of the stern suites on Oceana but we will have to put up with the downgrade. ;).

You lucky bugger... we were in one of those,on the two cruises we did on Oceana... B deck
Orcades Suite.
Loved the huge balcony.

I did look at Oceana, but we can only do 14 nights and she is doing longer trips in feb 2017.

Enjoy..

After a couple of weeks of thinking about it, we've booked the cruise that originally caught our eye when we first saw what was available.

This morning I phoned P&O and we've booked the 12 day British Isles cruise on Oriana in August 2016

We've already booked on Oceana for 35 nights in February 2016. We were wondering whether to wait for the World Cruise brochure to come out for 2017, with a view to doing a 'leg'.

But we didn't really want to be away for a long time twice within 12 months.

So a 'leg' has been postponed until 2018.

We considered another river cruise, but kept on being drawn back to the British Isles cruise. The itinerary includes Belfast, and we particularly want to go to the Titanic visitor attraction, plus there's several other new to us ports. Plus, we haven't been on Oriana since 2007.

So it fits our requirements, so we've gone for it

We went to the Titanic Visitor Attraction just after it opened and found it really good. You might want to book online before you go as entry was on a timed basis, unless it has changed. Enjoy! Doreen.

We thought that Belfast was a great place to visit, we were on a coaching tour of North and Southern Ireland a few years ago and stayed for a couple of nights in this interesting City ... in our case in the infamous Europa Hotel.

That's a really good idea, would save time on the day.

Does anyone happen to know if the ship docks near the 'Titanic Quarter'?

Happy lady this morning. I booked Ventura for July 2016 and also Azura in October. Its nice to say I have 3 cruises booked now. My Ta did a fabulous job, all booked within 5 mins with the cabins I wanted and also with an extra 5% off. Not bad when we needed accessible cabins
