See you on board lioness. It should be a good cruise - a few new places to see. But first we have a cruise on Adonia to look forward to in 9 days - only booked it two weeks ago.

We hadn't intended booking a cruise for next year as we're doing a tour of China with Yangtze river cruise but then we spotted the Arcadia 5 nighter over New Year, it's now booked :D

So you are on this one also!! You will love it. We did a similar cruise on Adonia last May for 16 nights but I was awaiting a hip replacement and was was in a lot of pain and couldn't walk very far. That is why we have decided to do the similar cruise again so that we will be able to see more of Seville. Adonia is now our favourite ship. See you next week.

Barbara - look out for a man with a lady on each arm! That will be us!! LOL My husband, me and our great friend. How will we know you?

Never been on Adonia - really looking forward to it and just realized we are also going right down the Gironde into Bordeaux. Marvellous things these little ships can do :-)

Lioness - I'll look out for you. We can usually be found on the dance floor in the evening before and after the first show.

It was a lovely sail along the river to Bordeaux and all the schoolchildren came out to wave to us. The ship docked alongside the main road.

The sail along the River Guadalquivir to Seville was early morning and went through narrow locks and under a lifting bridge just before getting into Seville. It was a lovely sail out of Seville during the following evening and as we were on first sitting we had finished in time to able to watch the sail through the locks.

I am sure you will like Adonia - it seems more civilised than some of the other ships, with no pushing and shoving in the Buffet and you can always find a seat.

Just checked cruise personaliser again and it is still showing 3 jacket required evenings. Has this now changed?

Are you absolutely sure about that, latest info was that Adonia will retain the three codes until April 2016, not April 2015.

Best to check the ' full itinerary ' page in your Cruise Personaliser.

Enjoy the cruise

And of course after April 2016 Adonia is going to join the re-launched Ocean Village fleet.

No problem to us, we are equally at home on Swan Hellenic as we were on Ocean Village.

Itinerary, itinerary, itinerary ... old chap.

We booked early for a Britannia cruise but now they are offering all kinds of incentives - on board credit etc to get people to book.

Is it worth booking early I ask myself.

I often think that allatc

Then book anyway.

Yesterday I booked another for November 2016.

To be fair, I've been winner and loser in the P&O price lottery.
I really just book it at a price I'm happy with at the time and then live with it.
Empty vessels .. and all that

I heard she was doing Blackpool, Rhyll and Prestatyn one week and Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth and Bognor the next.

WHAT .... that is a real let down, far better would surely be Pwllheli, Bracklesham Bay and Clacton :(
