Announced on Azura last week two new bigger ships coming and they have listened to customers and there will be a central stairwell and a walk around promenade deck.

There are some interesting new features that P&O are proposing for the new ships Oldtimer, the wrap round Prom deck with alfresco dining for lots of new eateries sounds enticing, but I worry that a lot of the new facilities will be extra charge ones resulting in P&O picking our pockets to add even more revenue and profits.

Is that the same large (180,000 tonne) ships already announced for 2020 and 2022, or or these ships in addition to those?

Sorry if I sound a miserable old **** but the thought of sailing on any boat with 5200 passengers fills me with dread with that many people on board the risk of infections spreading not to mention noro I find very worrying, so definitely not for us but for those willing to sail with so many other passengers I hope you enjoy it and have a great holiday when the time comes. :relaxed:

Not my cup of tea either. Mind you, I said that about Britannia, and we're off on her next month.

I'm sure you're right. And economically larger ships are cheaper per passenger to operate.
