Am somewhat surprised - didn't think it was that wonderful. Mind you looking at the list of winners this morning several people/programmes seem to have won that weren't necessarily expected to. The Crown and Line of Duty passed over for Peaky Blinders - can't say it's a show I particularly enjoyed but obviously a lot of people do but Line of Duty was excellent. Thandie Newton didn't make it for Best Actress either, nor Adrian Dunbar for Best Supporting Actor.

At least Cruising with Jane McDonald was lighthearted entertainment and was enjoyable. Not many of the other winners were of any interest to me. And don't get me started on that Sue Perkins and her smutty innuendo all the time - a man making those snide remarks would have been pilloried.

I love cruising with Jane MacDonald, she went to some very different places this time. the trip into the deep south of America was really interesting. she is a good presenter and has some fun with it all as well, so I think the bafta was well deserved.

So do I gilly88 and I'm looking forward to the next series, for some reason ( not particularly on this forum ) some seem to have a real downer on her and I can't imagine why as she does present very well imo, she was on an Oriana Xmas cruise a few years ago and was absolutely fantastic, what you see is what you get .. no airs and graces on that Yorkshire Lass ;)

She is performing at Warners. When we were at Alvaston Hall earlier in the year, they had added an extra date due to popular demand and it's a complete sell out. The same for Alexander Armstrong.

We found the show interesting, and liked that the focus was on the ship and locations.
