It's brilliant

Just "googled" it Lindsey - yes very funny particularly for us seasoned cruisers but I presume mocking the lady who "fell off" the back of the cruise ship Norwegian Star - something fishy about it all don't you think  All sorts of stories emerging in the press - she was one very lucky lady :!:

Certainly lots of theories. The one thing certain is that on a modern cruise ship, with the height of railings, simply falling isn't possible, unless you're at least 8 feet tall and top heavy!

Yes, I saw it this morning - brilliant! A Sea survival expert said that in order to escape with no injuries other than bruising she would have had to enter the water feet first and upright. Surely if she fell she would more likely to have fallen head first. No way did she fall. I assumed they were talking about the stern of the ship but in fact looking at the photo of where she went over, which is shown cordoned off it was on the side, towards the stern.

I was talking about this to the good lady last night after seeing it on the news. There is no way you can 'accidently' fall off a cruise ship. She was either drunk or sitting on a railing playing silly bu99ers, or both. The only other possible reason would be attempted suicide. As others have said, a very lucky lady. She would certainly have had a wake up call once hitting that water, stupid woman.

I wonder what sort of bill she's going to get for the rescue and all the other associated costs. Her insurance won't cover it if the reports are correct and she had had a drink or two.
