Bus crash Madeira

Post by Ray B »

So sad the news coming in from Madeira that 28 have died in a bus accident.
Many of us take coach trips which take in some roads that can set the heart racing.

Yes, very sad from our favourite holiday destination. Must have been terrifying.

How awful. Having been up the Nuns Valley I've seen some scary Madeira roads

Do we know if they were cruise passengers?

I read somewhere that they were German - not that that answers your question.

I believe I read somewhere they were returning to their hotel. Elsewhere that they were going out for an evening meal. Such tours are popular with visitors there. Another says there are counsellors at the hotel for families. All of which suggest not a cruise.
