A view of Ventura post refit
I have found this review on another site from someone who has just been on Ventura having been on her a few weeks before the refit. I was interested to read the comparisons, and in some ways it confirms my own fears.

Re: A view of Ventura post refit
Thanks for that Angela - I'm travelling on Ventura in July in a single inside cabin - I've chosen the same cabin as I had on Azura. It will be interesting to compare as the layout is slightly different on Azura as the casino is on the other side of the cabin wall rather than the pub.
I could sometimes hear the band playing dance music down in the atrium but otherwise pretty quiet. I don't go to bed very early so hopefully won't be affected too much - we shall see
Love the Glass House on Azura so looking forward to seeing the changes to the old Ramblas which I liked too especially the sangria
Whatever happens I'm sure I'll enjoy the cruise

Re: A view of Ventura post refit
I'm sure you'll have a great time Janis. We've been on both Ventura and Azura and liked them both. In some ways the changes seem to be making Ventura more 'Azura like', so it will be interesting to see how others find it. For myself I shall miss the shady area on the front of Ventura (we were ok on Azura as it was a Fjords Cruise so not the same demand for shade). My son would be very disappointed that Fish & Chips have been taken off the Beach House menu, but as he's old enough to sort out his own holidays now, I shan't lose any sleep over that!
