N325 29 Sept Canaries Cruise

#1

Post by Suekersh »

We have just booked this cruise. After the disappointment of having to cancel a cruise on Oriana early August we are relieved that Garry has got the all clear to cruise again. He still has some recuperation to do but where better than on a cruise to the sun.

It is his birthday when we are in Madeira and we have booked a superior deluxe cabin to celebrate.

Any one else on the forum on this cruise?

Sue

Hi Sue, wish we were but Steve did not have much holiday left this year so we have booked J313 on Arcadia for 4 nights, Bruges (we are going to Brussels for the day) and then a day and overnight in Amsterdam. 21st Sept and 22nd is our wedding anniversary.

I am so glad Garry is now OK to cruise again, and yes what a great way to recuperate. I am sure we will catch up before, but just in case, give him our regards, may he continue to get back to normal and have a wonderful cruise.

We're on board N325 for our silver anniversary and we're renewing our vows (we're on N324 aslo for my sons wedding).

We'll listen out for the 'happy birthday' song when we're in Madeira

Hi Unicus, well that makes 4 of us. I think we are in for a quiet cruise. Congrats on your wedding anniversary and the renewal of vows. Doubt you will hear the Happy Birthday song as we will eat in select dining that night. I think the singing waiters would be Garry's worst nightmare.

Sorry Sue but my mother-in-law is doing B2B with us so it won't be quiet  and our eldest son is with us also so the numbers are getting better :D

Oh and the singing waiters are fun, just ask our youngest son who's celebrated his 16th, 18th & 21st on cruises. He also proposed along with shortley marrying on board, we love cruising.

Just started doing some packing. I find casual nights harder to pack for than semi formal and formal nights.

Hi Dave,
Great to see more of us from here on board.
Only another week at work then hopefully some sunshine, though quite nice here today.

We have just arrived at hotel near Oxford. Very nice room. Relaxing now with a bottle of wine. Just an hour and quarter journey to Southampton tomorrow.
