NCL Epic...
Interesting point of view elsewhere, wondered what you lot think?
NCL Epic has frosted glass doors to the bathroom/shower, the same to the separate toilet, & the hand basin is outside both in the room as far as I can tell. There appears to be nowhere to dress or undress in private should you wish. We think some things are best kept private even with couples, never mind friends sharing, but we are all different so how would YOU feel about translucent "bathroom" doors & would you like to know about it before you booked?

The ship itself is best viewed through frosted glass.

We had one of those frosted glass door things in a hotel in Amsterdam last year ... I hated it ... I felt you got no privacy.

Looking at the configuration for those cabins somebody would get an eyeful in the corridor if your wife opened the door whilst you were in the showeror on the loo. Didn't like the look at all, seemed very cramped and what on earth are those Studio things?
Having just watched the promotional video NCL Epic is everything I would hope to avoid, although I do like the look of those tube things into the swimming pool. I'll stay with P&O thank you.

Re: NCL Epic...
Let's be frank here, who wants to see anyone sat on the lav even through frosted glass? The hand basin as I understand it is outside the toilet so you have to open the door etc. to wash your hands...My wife wants to dress in a dressing area not out in the cabin, the bathroom area & the bit between the bathroom & wardrobes suits her well for this. IMAGINE the TROUBLE you would be in if YOU opened the door when the wife was in the lav/shower?

Those curved walls would play havoc when you've had a drink or two.

... not if you have had enough to drink in which case you use the floor as a back rest ... and very comfy it is too

Okay, call me dim, but what is a dressing area, isn't it in the cabin??
Oh and by the way we will be sailing on the NCL Gem in December, has anyone dared on this one??
