Got our e-tickets printed off now - just waiting for the brochure with luggage labels
Going away from 19-22 September and then when I get back time to get the big suitcases down from the loft and start filling up the bed in the spare room

Less than a week to go now - packing has commenced - just the important things so far - 16 pairs of shoes (and 3 pairs for hubby!)
Now for 5 days of manic activity to get everything sorted - including the dogs.

Cutting back are we - now you know you have a reputation to maintain Do the dogs know you are going away - mine sees the cases and lies around looking all forlorn and has that abandoned look to make me feel guiltyMicheleW wrote:Less than a week to go now - packing has commenced - just the important things so far - 16 pairs of shoes (and 3 pairs for hubby!)

Hi Janis,
Yes, I know just what you mean about the dogs - it's the one bit of going cruising that I hate - leaving them behind I usually try and do bits of packing when they are both curled up asleep in front of the fire, but they always know that something is going on.
Still not quite sure of final shoe count - I have still got a couple of pairs that I am dithering over whether to pack or not. Still got to fit some clothes in somewhere

Only 1 more day left at work
Colouring hair and painting toenails tonight then tomorrow will be a frantic evening finishing off the packing. Have managed a fair bit already so hopefully shouldn't be too bad. Then roll on Saturday
Michele
PS. Total shoe count only 17 Don't know how I managed to keep it so low.

I really must start packing soon, I don't want to leave it until Saturday morning again. I want to. Be down there by 12:00. Ocean terminal is it?

Hi QB,
Yes, Ocean terminal - though we come back in to Mayflower - but I don't want to be thinking that far ahead yet.
We are aiming to leave home by 8.30 and with a good run will be there by midday. Then on board for some lunch and let the holiday begin

Re: J315
Well, that's it - packing completed
Could have fitted some more stuff in but it leaves me plenty of scope for shopping though I will need the space to bring home my P&O slippers which I should be rewarded with during this cruise
Dogs all packed as well, so now I just need to try and get a reasonable amount of sleep tonight - fat chance of that, as I am a bit like a child on Christmas Eve!
Just checked on Marine Traffic and Arcadia is currently in the Channel north of Guernsey and south of Torquay - next stop for both of us - Southampton.
Night All,
Michele
