I will be there alongwith Popeye the Sailorman (hubby) and two friends who we met on Aurora in 2009. Not done a Christmas cruise for ages.

Our e-tickets were published today so just the packing left to do! I see this cruise has been sold out for a while so we won't be getting any smarty pants telling us all how they got a last minute deal for a quarter the price the rest of us paid !!

Counting down the days qbman1, very excited not done a Christmas cruise for years and never the fireworks in Madeira.

Never encountered anyone who was rude enough to ask what price we paid and then tell us what they paid! Obviously you have!

Cornmillgirl doesn't usually see the fireworks (Madeira) due to a serious New Years Eve Gin problem..

Not long now though and we'll be slipping down the Solent.. :D

Yep, I reckon it's only the four of us going !! Should be plenty of room in the jacuzzi on Christmas Day !!

I shall start my packing on Friday afternoon - really ! Nothing like a deadline to focus the mind
