Oriana X803
Well just paid the full balance of this cruise.
Hoping for some warmer weather in the canaries after the winter.

Re: Oriana X803
judging by the post on another thread you will be getting Oriana in a new and pristine condition, engine wise, be like a Ferrari racing car on the way done there.
regards gilly.

Never been on it,never going to go on it, Sell it and replace it with a nice new Vista class or take a HAL one off their hands.

Re: Oriana X803
She was our first cruise but the balcony shortage puts us off these days, along with the reliability issues

Re: Oriana X803
Lack of balconies with the resultant extortionate cost puts us off Oriana also - but having said that in many respects she is one of our favourite ships and we had, for many reasons, probably the best cruise ever on her.

Re: Oriana X803
I doubt we will re-book Oriana but betwixt 2008 and 2012-ish we did a Christmas Markets plus an extended Fjord cruise and look back with very fond memories, the jjjjjj-judder at our dining table was however less memorable.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Re: Oriana X803
You mean the dance of the knives and forks. Apart from the noise we found that off putting, and the fact that she broke down three times in a fortnight's cruise. At one time all the lights went out, the engines stopped and some of the waiters dashed off. Ten minutes later the lights came back on and normal juddering service resumed.Manoverboard wrote: ↑22 Nov 2017, 09:57the jjjjjj-judder at our dining table was however less memorable.

True - I have the same problem myself - but I just wouldn't want it to happen in a Force 10 in mid-Atlantic !!
