P&O Helpline (0843 374 0111)
OK Cruisers. I have just phoned the P&O Helpline (0843 374 0111) to get some information. It took me 27 minutes 36 seconds before they answered.
How long were you left hanging. I'm looking for the longest and shortest.

from comments on the P&O FB page - you got off lightly
somewhere there's a freephone number that gets picked up instantly - cos THEY are paying....

Re: P&O Helpline (0843 374 0111)
I have been trying over the last few days to get through..always over 30 mins before I have had to hang up due, to grand kids or doorbell..etc.
tried this morning about 8.40am and got straight through after the press this that and other choices!!
Sorted out Wine package, Champagne, coffee card and ice cream card.
I know we could have probably done this onboard, but I want everything sorted before we go.
The lady who I dealt with couldnt put the 4 things I wanted as one transaction...so had to punch my card number on the phone 4 times

Some of you are very lucky if you have had your phone call answered in less than an hour. I have waited for almost an hour listening to music on several occasions to try and book luxuries as gifts for our up and coming cruise at Christmas. Eventually hanging up and waiting no longer. Beginning to think there is no one to answer the calls. They obviously don't want my custom! Not a good start to my introductory cruise with P&O

Re: P&O Helpline (0843 374 0111)
When our cruise on Azura was delayed by two days the Customer Helpline phone must have been left off the hook and stuffed in a drawer because it was impossible to get through. So I used my usual tack with large companies, I phoned sales on their freephone number and voila instant pick up, and I said before you tell me that I have phoned the wrong number I want putting through to someone in authority or I'll cancel and not use P&O again, it worked.
I must say though that the customer services department handled what must have been a major operation for them in a very efficient manner and some of their staff must have worked long into the night sorting peoples problems out and I can't praise them enough.
