Akrotiri
Has anyone visited Akrotiri when stopping at Santorini? We are visiting during our August cruise (along with another 4 smaller ships) and I just wondered how it 'worked' never having done a trip on a tender port and one that's only apparent means of access to the town is via a cable car, donkeys or a long flight of steps....
I can imagine that the cable car is going to be very busy with 5 ships in port.
Any help or advise would be much appreciated
thank you
Tracey

Re: Akrotiri
Nope, thought it was where the airport is plus an ancient Minoan site which is accessed by paths or lunatics on mountain bikes.
