Re: Strictly
Even Ed's not so bad as some of the donkeys from past years. But I agree, he'll be the first to go unless Labour supporters line up behind him on principle. I mean they've re-elected Jezzer so anything could happen.....

Re: Strictly
Considering how good the rest of them were poor old Ed didn't stand a chance but we both thought he did a lot better than we expected. Louise Rednapp is our favourite, but there are some really good ones this year. Excellent start to Saturdays show with the young dancers and the choir backing the fabulous Dave Arch singers, who have fantastic voices anyway. Brilliant enterrtainment. Well done BBC, tell the Daily Wail to stick it big time!

Re: Strictly
Hi Stephen....l think Judge Rinder could go quite a long way in the competition however he's going to have to stop looking like a back street hooker if he is to proceed further in the competition ...he looked a bit queer to me.
Haven't as yet checked the prices but l'm leaning towards putting a fiver on Daisy Lowe.....l think the voting public will get behind her as she has that likeability factor.

Re: Strictly
My money is on either Louise Redknapp or Danny Mac, who after watching his jive was very impressive. Still early days though and there could still be some dark horses out there.

Agree Stephen....It was hard to tell which was the professional between Danny Mac and his partner but this might not bode well for him getting to the final....us voters are pretty fickle when we think someone has an unfair advantage?

Re: Strictly
Come on guys and Gals; what about last night's show? Ed Balls too good to go this week imho. Louise Redknapp pretty good but there are few really good ones this year and some really gutsy triers too. It looks very tight at the top to me. Great show though.

Balls is probably too good to survive. We like our politicians to make complete idiots of themselves...

Travesty. What a nice chap. He didn't even get a chance to dance again.

Re: Strictly
He did seem a really nice chap but part of the problem would possibly be that none knew him, unless they listened to his radio programme. Having said that, half of the so-called 'celebrities' on TV nowadays I have never heard of but somebody must be watching or listening to them.

Re: Strictly
I don't watch it...but if the way they decide who goes out is by a dance off and you can't do the dance off then by default you are out!
Why bother with the dance off just boot them out based on votes.
As I say I don't watch it.

Re: Strictly
That's what they did RB. They booted him out because he got the lowest vote whereas Anastasia couldn't compete because of injury and stay in. I think if the injury continues it will prove to have been a bit harsh on Melvin. Try watching RB, even if you aren't a partisan supporter the entertainment value is pretty good.

Re: Strictly
I wonder if they will adopt the same principle at Wimbledon when one of the players gets injured. The one who gets the loudest clap or cheer, or whose supporters sing loudest in a Cliff Richard type singalong goes through to the next round.
An injury such as she sustained may have implications further along in the competition. We may not have heard the end of this story and it may have been fairer had she temporarily withdrawn and nobody was eliminated.

Re: Strictly
I watched the show on Saturday and then recorded the results last night, then went through them quickly in order to find who went off. This year I know so few of the contestants, far more that I don't know so was only really interested to see if any of the people I knew went off - they didn't!

Re: Strictly
Well after last night, imho this is the most talented group I have ever seen on Strictly. Even Ed Balls the probable 'no hoper' is coming over as a nice guy who is at least trying. Ore and Joanne Clifton were great, and Danny looks every inch a pro. When will he do something badly? Naga is a bit weak, but she looked great in that outfit last night. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Re: Strictly
Hi Frank.... agree with what you say.....If l was a betting man l would say it's a toss up between Lesley, Tamika and Naga for the chop tonight. Ed is by far the worst dancer but he's displaying a few moves that you wouldn't normally expect from a politician....dare l say humour!!
