Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
We had a very pleasant visit to Bridport this morning. Have only been once before and that was just to Morrisons and Palmers brewery for a tour.
Enjoyed sitting overlooking where the rowing boats are hired sharing a large portion of freshly cooked chips. Haven't done that for a few years, wonderful.
Will definately be returning for a more in depth scout round

They also have a museum where rope was made for the seafarers of old, it was made in a very long single length

It was nice to see sensible parking charges and not the rip off prices you normally get. Mind you £3.60 for a large portion of chips makes up for it , but worth it

Sh*t, not another one. The rum will only stretch so far you know. Mind you, there is the initiation ceremony to go through for new Captains.

Where about are you. Still up in freezing Jock land or have you ventured down to the southern tropics.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
I can recommend a very nice red for you to try Moby.
I don't normally drink Californian red wine but we had a bottle left at our holiday rental for us. And very nice it was too. It's called 'Crows Landing' and was a 2018 PETITE SIRAH. Tricky to obtain but worth it if you can get it. I have seen Ocado sell it.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
P&O used to sell a Californian Red which was based on a heady Italian grape, yours sounds ' lighter ' but worth a try
