Titanic 11 again

#1

Post by Ray B »

It may have sunk just over 100 years ago, but RMS Titanic just keeps popping up.
The third attempt by billionaire Clive Palmer to build his replica Titanic has been announced.
First planned in 2013 but failed and then again in 2018 only to be stopped be Covid, this attempt hope's to be taking passengers in 2027 .

Sounds interesting. No doubt it’ll be way beyond my means.

As and when built I wonder how well the cruises that take in iceberg sightings will sell. ;)

I wouldn’t think it will be too difficult to find the clientele it will need to make it a viable proposition.

Stephen,No No No. I do think you will be able to afford it as they propose three classes of travel.
The third-class (steerage) passengers will be served simple fare, such as Irish stew etc. in their simple 3rd class dining hall. Passengers will sit at very long tables.
No details of accommodation, but to cater for today's pasenger expectations third class may have hammocks and a bucket.
Don't worry, be happy

If I get my hands on the keys to the stairwell, I’ll make sure he isn’t a survivor
