Passport Renewal

#1

Post by david63 »

Mrs63 needed to renew her passport so having had her photo done last Thursday morning she completed the online form which was submitted at 11:40 on Thursday 13th July 2023 and lo and behold her new passport was delivered at 10:00 this morning (Friday 21sy July 2023).

Is this a record?

Similar for me David.
I used the post office in Bideford to do it all and was amazed at the service.
Empty vessels .. and all that

We did it last year with on line form and photo submitted electronically by our local photo shop. Similar speedy service. There will of course still be those who don't understand the ten year maximum rule and realise their passport is out of date as they arrive at check in!

I'll put my hands up as being one of them.

Just checked with our travel agent to be on the safe side, and we are ok for this year but I will need to renew before our 2024 cruise.

I can imagine allot of people being caught out by this.
