Ambassador cruises ship out of action

Ambassadors cruise ship Ambition, now in Germany for it's biannual check, had a set back when engineers found the prop shafts damage due to metal to metal contact. It has also compromised the shaft seals which could allow oil to escape into the sea.
The prop shafts have been removed and sent to Finland by barge to be renovated.
This has led to Ambitions Christmas cruises moved to their other ship Ambiance, and the long cruise that Ambiance was to undertake pulled.
Tough time for the new cruise line with a massive bill expected. No doubt any disgruntled passengers are now looking at the T&Cs to see what compo they can claim. It will also be interesting how the company will handle this unfortunate situation with the passengers involved .
Not the Christmas present some were expecting.
