Icon of The Seas
It’s getting ridiculous and definitely not for me.

Can you imagine the queues outside the terminal if it came to Southampton?

It’s not pitched at the likes of us.
It’s clearly a family party ship where the ship is actually the destination.
RC are getting bigger and bigger so they must be doing something right.
It’s an impressive piece of engineering.
For Mr and Mrs Barney ?
Nah !

Reminds me of a funfair with all the slides and such...if they've got a hook-a-duck I'm up for it

Obviously not aimed at my age but who knows some older people may like it. For me it's hideous and quite scary, the thought of a vessel that size and all the things that could go wrong. Imagine the life boat drill!

Re: Icon of The Seas
I would really like to try one of the bigger Oasis class ships before I hang up my cruising shoes. But it doesn't seem likely that RC will be sending one to do a summer season in Southampton anytime soon.
