Ooh right then you have a choice - I have a Dalmore 12 year old malt or a William Grant Finest Reserve malt - did you say a double ;)

Either would be most acceptable. And a double would be very generous. Cheers.

I haven't had a whisky for about ten years since I got very drunk on the stuff. A friend offered me a whisky and ginger ale in a highball glass. I could barely taste the whisky and thought him a bit mingey. I had 7 glasses. Only later did I discover each glass had at least four shots in it. I was not amused, as I dislike getting drunk.

I used to like an Oban single malt.

Incidentally, did you know that there are two different Bacardi's? I thought it was just made in Cuba but the stuff sold a few years ago in the US is made in the Dominican Republic and is very different.

I didn't - but thinking about it, at the time the US wouldn't touch anything made in Cuba!

I'll try both please Jan......bottles that is

The way the weather is this morning I might as well stay in bed today with a whisky comforter. It's pis*ing chucking it down at the moment. At least it'll be a good test for the drainage we recently had installed.
