Loved your reviews, thank you. What was your original cabin number so we can all avoid it in the future.

Re: Apologise Meg
Arcadialover our cabin was inside A235. We had booked the cheapest on the Vantage fare. The prices went right down and for what we had paid we could have had a last minute balcony.
The ship was not full and we could have been given an outside as a gesture of goodwill. The reception officer did offer us earplugs but were given a contingency cabin as it was called. Actually it was an outside which did not smell very nice so it was good to have a shower in the morning.
Next day we were shown another inside on D deck starboard side and the noise was still there although not as loud. The next cabin was inside port side which was quiet. D142.
Apparently passengers on the previous cruise were given the chance to stay on for our cruise at a ridiculous price. So really we could have been offered a better cabin.
We will never book a cruise far in advance again.
