'ow much, I may wait for the Summer Sales.
Glad to note however that it is text / speech enabled .... seems appropriate to just sit there listening to you reading it to me, albeit with a Yankie Doodle accent.

Re: The best book on cruising......
Thanks for all the suggestions as to how to try and get the book onto the ships.
Fraid the library route was no good as they say they only do hardbacks.
However, I've been invited to send a book each to the 2 companies that provide the books to the onboard shops - mind you, they did also ask me to send in my Press Release!?! Maybe a copy of this thread might suffice

Just downloaded your book on to my Kindle
As soon as I've finished my current book it'll be the next one that I read

Not starting reading mine yet, but I've weighed and measured it and can report that it seems ideal for reserving a sunbed while popping away for lunch!

Re: The best book on cruising......
Finally !!! At last, someone appreciates the hours of research I put into this book !!!Mervyn and Trish wrote:Not starting reading mine yet, but I've weighed and measured it and can report that it seems ideal for reserving a sunbed while popping away for lunch!
You wouldn't believe the number of sunbeds, and different sizes of books, I had to try before I got to the current offering.
Thanks Mervyn
P.s. Please note, said book is only guaranteed to remain on sunbed in winds up to, and including, a Force 7. But if you are sunbathing in that weather, may I respectfully suggest that you should be selecting reading material from another (more mental health related) section of the book shop

Re: The best book on cruising......
Can't you get your local paper to do a piece on it, with facts and figures of how it's doing to date ?? would that be classed as a press release.Dennis The Menace wrote:Thanks for all the suggestions as to how to try and get the book onto the ships.

Re: The best book on cruising......
Mine arrived Saturday and I finished it last night.
Thank you DTM I've really enjoyed it - happy and sad - a good balance. It was well worth all of your hard efforts
Love to you both.
